Quotation
A quotation is prepared from your catalogue, price lists and customer terms. Approval rules can apply before it is sent.
Sales order
When the customer accepts, the quotation becomes a confirmed sales order. Nothing is re-typed.
Inventory
Stock is checked and reserved. If something is short, the system can trigger a purchase or a production order.
Delivery
The warehouse picks, packs and delivers. Quantities delivered update the order and stock position.
Invoice
The invoice is created from what was actually ordered and delivered, then flows to accounting and payments.
