An implementation in progress.
This is an ongoing engagement. It describes the scope AMP is delivering and the objectives the design is aimed at.
Graffiti Ceramics operates in ceramics and building-materials trading.
Why multi-company is hard
An organisation with several companies has to manage intercompany purchases and sales, keep stock visible across entities, and still report cleanly, while respecting that each company may be a separate legal entity or business unit with its own records.
Connected companies, preserved structure.
An appropriately designed Odoo environment connects operational processes across companies without erasing the organisational structure. Step through the concept.
Intercompany sales and purchases
When one company sells to another in the group, the matching purchase can be created automatically in the other company, replacing repeated manual entry and re-keying.
Centralised stock visibility
Stock across companies can be viewed together, so teams can see what the organisation holds, not just what one entity holds.
Consolidated operational reporting
Because the companies share one platform, reporting across them becomes simpler to produce while each company keeps its own records.
The connected picture
Separate legal entities or business units stay separate where they must, and connected where it helps.

Project objectives. These are intended outcomes of an ongoing implementation, not benefits already realised.
Using Community and Enterprise with cost in mind.
Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise differ in capabilities and licensing. Some functionality is available only in Enterprise, and using Enterprise requires an appropriate subscription. The aim is to apply Enterprise where it adds real value and avoid paying for it where it does not.
How we think about it
- Map each process to the capability it really needs
- Confirm edition features and current licensing terms with Odoo before committing
- Keep the design flexible as the organisation changes
